The world
of Terra is the setting of our tale. A world not particularly unique, Terra’s
vast blue oceans and scattering of continents is not unlike Earth, with one
major difference... Unbeknownst to the vast majority Terra’s inhabitants, Terra
is actually a lunar body orbiting a much larger planet. Terra is indeed a moon
of the blue gaseous giant planet known as Proxima. As by far the largest
celestial object in Terra’s night sky due to its closeness, Proxima is often
worshipped and revered by many Terran cultures.
Terra is
home to many unique sentient species that live in a variety of secluded or
mingled nations and communities. The closest star to Terra is Sol, a G-type
main-sequence orange dwarf star in a binary system with an F-type white dwarf
star named Ami. However, in relation to Proxima even this binary star system
appears small by comparison.
Beneath the
surface of Terra’s mantle lies the constant ebb and flow of the lifestream
energies, vast amounts of creation energy in its purest form. These energies
have been utilised by many over the histories from power-driven men and women
to warring Deities.
